Lombard Mennonite Peace Center

December 4, 2016

As a non-profit ministry, the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center works to encourage the nonviolent transformation of conflict in relationships in homes, workplaces, schools, churches, and throughout our world.

Their programs and resources address ways of resolving conflicts and building healthier relationships in all of these various settings. Having the skills to function effectively in emotionally intense, conflicted situations is important for everyone, especially those of who are leaders.

The Lombard Mennonite Peace Center has trained hundred of church leaders from a wide range of denominations in the skills that are needed to deal with conflict in the church setting through its Mediation Skills Training Institute.

In addition, Clergy Clinic in Family Emotional Process and Advanced Clergy Clinic in Family Emotional Process are both designed to enhance the ability of participants to function as self-differentiated leaders within their own ministry setting. They provide a safe forum for processing challenging situations, while also facilitating reflection on a way of thinking about the human condition which has implications for all aspects of life.

LMPC has a variety of resources to assist with conflict and change in the church.
