Well of Mercy is a ministry of hospitality and healing sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. It provides quiet sanctuary for adults seeking right relationship with self, others, God and creation. By offering spiritual companionship, emotional support, respectful acceptance and sacred space, it contributes to the rest and renewal of its guests.

The mission and ministry of the Sisters of Mercy are based on VALUES that are found in the Gospel, and in their Community’s history and tradition. These values include: mercy, hospitality compassion, justice, prayer, love, integrity, and reverence for the dignity of each person. MERCY is the dominant and driving force in their lives and works.
General Information
Well of Mercy consists of two six-bedroom guest houses and two one-bedroom cottages located within close proximity to the Well House (main house). Each guesthouse has a small kitchen, dining and sitting area along with a private screened porch overlooking the woods and creek. The guesthouses join the main house by way of a spacious covered porch, dotted with rocking chairs and swings. Take a virtual tour.
Each private guest room is comfortably appointed with its own bath and reclinable rocker. Linens and blankets are provided. A room for those who are physically challenged is available upon request.
Well of Mercy is a SMOKE FREE & ALCOHOL FREE facility. Please NO PETS.
Operating Hours
Well of Mercy is open for guests with reservations from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday until 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Please call our office at 704-539-5449 from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Wednesday – Saturday for information or to make reservations.
Day Guests/Visitors
Well of Mercy welcomes individuals for overnight stays and for day visits. All day guests and visitors must call in advance to schedule a visit.
