Date of Death: 11/22/2018 | Date of Birth: 3/7/1930; | ClergyWe have received word of the Thursday, November 22, 2018 death of the Rev. Wade Edward Wright of Hiddenite. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Reeves Wright; two daughters, Kathy W. Durmire (husband, Allen) and Carol W. McLain (husband, Barry); two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild expected in December. The funeral service was held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 3 pm, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Taylorsville, officiated by Pastor Doug Houchmouth and the Rev. Donnie Durham. Burial followed in the Hiddenite Cemetery with full military honors. The family received friends from 6-8 pm, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home.
