Date of Death: 8/27/2019 | Date of Birth: 4/20/1944; | ClergyWe have received word of the Tuesday, August 27, 2019 death of the Rev. Michael Bryan Harrill, Sr. of Rutherfordton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Yelton Harrill (in May of this year); a daughter, Pamela Renee Ward; and a son, Doug Yelton. He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Todd Yelton (wife, Brenda) and Rev. Michael “Mickey” Harrill, Jr. (wife, Sarah); a daughter, Sheila Renee Lewis; fifteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2:00pm, at Kistler’s Chapel UMC, 1060 Poors Ford Rd, Rutherfordton, officiated by the Rev. Don Farris. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm, at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, with military honors.
