Rev. Lawrence E. Barden

We have received word of the Tuesday, September 1, 2020 death of the Rev. Lawrence Edgerton “Larry” Barden of Salisbury, NC.  He is survived by his wife, Martha; son and daughter-in law, Rev. Dr. Mark L. Barden and Rev. Barbara J. Barden of Shelby; daughter, Rev. Anna Barden of Kannapolis; daughter-in-law, Kim Falls of Charlotte, and grandson, Chris Barden of Charlotte.  He was predeceased by his parents and a son, John W. Barden.  A virtual memorial service is planned for Sunday, September 27, 3 pm via Facebook (www.facebook.com/mlbarden). His cremains will be buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Hickory.
