Rev. H. D. Houck

We have received word of the Wednesday, December 15, 2021 death of the Rev. Harold Dean Houck of Fleetwood.  H.D. is survived by his wife, Kathleen Dotson Houck; son: Dan; daughters: Diana and Dawne; two granddaughters: Holli and Harmony; two great-granddaughters: Trinity and Jordyn; brothers: Arless (Carla), Jerry (Wilma), Don (Barbara), Michael (Susan), and David (Susan); and sisters: Barbara (Frank), Bernice, and Kathy (Dale).  A celebration of life service will be held in early 2022.  At his request, he will be cremated, and his remains spread on family property in Ashe County.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 212 Bethany Church Rd, Fairview, NC 28730; or to Zion Church, 303 Zion Methodist Church Rd, Todd, NC 28684.
