Date of Death: 2/21/2022 | Date of Birth: 1/19/1929; | ClergyWe have received word of the death of the Rev. Grady Ross Barringer on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Beacon Place in Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie Lambert Barringer. He is survived by his daughters: Sonya Davenport and Robin Smith (husband Steve); grandchildren: Sarah Clevenger (Tim), Katie Hemberg (Nate), and Ian Andersen; great-grandchildren: Preston, Ethan, Braydon, Jaxon, Grayson, Reese, and Zack. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Mount Pleasant UMC in Sherrills Ford, officiated by the Rev. Jonathan Brake and Rev. Glen Myers. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant UMC, or Mt. Pleasant UMC Preschool, 4136 Mt Pleasant Rd, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.
