Date of Death: 8/2/2019 | Date of Birth: 5/11/1925; | ClergyWe have received word of the death of the Rev. Frank Hugh Edwards, former district superintendent and assistant to the bishop, on Friday, August 2, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Caudle Edwards. He is survived by two sons, David C. Edwards and Mark A. Edwards (Jan). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00am, at Myers Park UMC, 1501 Queens Road, Charlotte. The service will be streamed live for those unable to attend in person, at the website: https://livestream.com/mpumc/. The Rev. Edwards will lie in repose in the church sanctuary beginning at 9:30am on Friday, and the family will receive friends in Jubilee Hall at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Myers Park United Methodist Church, 1501 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207.
