We have received word of the Wednesday, July 15, 2020 death of the Rev. Dr. Jerry Dwight Murray of Winston-Salem.  Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy Moore Murray; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Causey (Andrew) and Katherine Jean Hartel (Walter); a son, John David Murray (Nancy); six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and step-children, Dottie Kibler (Janet), Karen Kibler Arnold (Jeff), and Michael Kibler (Kelly).  Inurnment will take place during a small, family service at the Maple Springs UMC Columbarium in Winston-Salem.  A public celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to Disciple Bible Outreach Ministries, PO Box 358, Oak Island, NC 28465 (https://disciplebibleoutreach.org/); the Yoke Fellow Prison Ministry, PO Box 38964, Greensboro, NC 27438 (https://yokefellowprisonministry.org); or to Maple Springs Food Pantry, 2569 Reynolda Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106 (http://www.maplesprings.org/support/food-pantry).
