Date of Death: 9/18/2022 | Date of Birth: 12/20/1927; | ClergyWe have received word of the Sunday, September 18, 2022 death of the Rev. Hubert Donald Noblitt of Charlotte. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Shinn Noblitt, and his son, Marcus Noblitt. He is survived by his son, Keith Noblitt (Louise); daughters, Kay Pruitt (Stephen) and Susan Clontz (Perry); daughter-in-law, Judith Noblitt; step-sons, Ron Shinn (Dottie) and Jeff Shinn (Garla); eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 24, 2022 in the Chapel of Aldersgate Retirement Community, 3800 Shamrock Dr, Charlotte, NC 28215, with the Rev. William Van Wieren III officiating. A reception will be held following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midway UMC, 708 S Main St, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or to Memorial UMC, 4012 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205.
