Rev. Charles Sisk

We have received word of the Sunday, October 9, 2022 death of the Rev. Charles Wesley Sisk of Morganton. Rev. Sisk was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sisk; two sisters, Sybil and Elsie; and brother, Robert.  He is survived by three sons: John (Kendra), Phillip, and Mark (Yvonne); granddaughters: Shannon (Jonathan), Sonya (Matthew), Peggy Ann (Corey), and Emmaline; great-grandchildren: Lanie, Layton, and Linley; and several nephews and nieces.  A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 12:00pm in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home, 1011 S Sterling St, Morganton, NC 28655.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 11:00am, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Grove UMC (Table Rock / Morganton), United Methodist Men, Crossnore Communities for Children (formerly Crossnore School & Children’s Home), Heifer Project International, WNCC Committee on Relief / Disaster Ministries, or UMCOR.
