Mrs. Velma S. Hauser

We have received word of the death of Mrs. Velma Pauline Shropshire Hauser in Burlington, on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Joseph J. Hauser.  She is survived by a son, Mark Hauser (wife, Ann); a daughter, Susan Hauser (partner, Julia Merricks); two grandchildren, Catherine Mills (husband, Patrick) and Rebecca Hurdle (husband, Robbie); and four great-grandchildren, Madison, Trent, Ann Elizabeth, and Catie.  A private funeral service for the family was held at the First United Methodist Church of Graham on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at 11:00am.  The service was live streamed for those wishing to share in her service, on the church website.  Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery in Elon.  Memorial contributions may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice Collective of Alamance, 914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215, or to First United Methodist Church of Graham, 303 N Main St, Graham, NC 27253.
