Mrs. Sara L. Clinard

We have received word of the Friday, February 19, 2021 death of Mrs. Sara Langdon Clinard in Matthews.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Ray Foxx, and her second husband, the Rev. Hubert C. Clinard.  She is survived by her stepdaughter, Carol Clinard; stepson, Mike Clinard (wife Debbie); son, Eric Clinard (wife Jeannie); daughters, Amanda Hiott (husband Mike) and Amy Niccolai (husband Bill); grandchildren: Scott, Nina, Joci, Joshua, Christin, Hannah, Hailey, and Hope; and great-granddaughter Melissa.  A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Stallings United Methodist Church.  Following the ceremony, a graveside service will be held at 3:00pm at Hills Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 988 NC-16, Stanley, NC 28164.  The family will receive friends at Stallings UMC from 12:00pm-1:00pm, prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Stallings UMC, 1115 Stallings Rd, Matthews, NC 28104.
