Mrs. Rebecca B. Heckard

We have received word of the Saturday, December 14, 2019 death of Mrs. Rebecca Beamer Heckard of Savannah, GA.  She was preceded in death her husband, the Rev. Floyd L. Heckard.  She is survived by extended family.  A funeral service was held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, 7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, with the Rev. Dr. Ben Martin officiating.  The family received friends one hour prior to the service.  Mrs. Heckard was interred at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902.  In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Wesley Gardens Fund at Wesley Monumental UM Church.
