Mrs. Peggy E. Horn

We have just received word of the February 9, 2022 death of Mrs. Marguerite Edens Barrentine Horn of Charlotte.  Peggy is survived by her husband, the Rev. Kenneth A. Horn; two sons: Gerald Edens Horn (wife, Janet) and James Arthur Horn (wife, Amy); a daughter: Sheryl Annette Culp (husband, Richard); five grandchildren: Christina Joy (Brian), Rebecca Noel (Ryan), Richard Edwin, Clara Elizabeth, and Amelia Margaret; three great-granddaughters: Trinity, Emma, and Anna; and a great-grandson, William.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Annie May and James Edens Barrentine, and her sister, Betty Scarborough.  A celebration of life service was held on March 12, 2022 at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel, 4431 Old Monroe Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079.  She was laid to rest in Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Help Fund of Christ United Methodist Church, 8020 Belhaven Blvd,  Charlotte, NC 28216.
