Date of Death: 8/5/2022 | Date of Birth: 5/1/1936; | Clergy SpouseWe have received word of the Friday, August 5, 2022 death of Mrs. Helen Paige Williamson Wimmer of Dry Fork, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Mark Flunory Wimmer, and her son, Sterling Leon Wimmer. Paige is survived by two sons: Robert Nelson Wimmer (Xochitl) and Grier Calvin Wimmer (Mary); six grandchildren: Ashley, Elizabeth, Nicholas, David, Paul, and Crystal; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Swicegood Funeral Home, 564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541 with the Rev. Wayne Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, 3049 N Main St, Danville, VA 24540. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
