Mrs. Mozelle S. Walker

We have received word of the Monday, March 25, 2019 death of Mrs. Georgia Mozelle Smith Walker of Archdale.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Charles B. Walker, and infant daughter, Jeanette Kay Walker.  Surviving are three daughters: Ann Walker Allnutt, Janice Walker Allred (husband Craig), and Debra Walker Siler (husband Billy); six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.  A celebration of Mozelle’s life was held on Thursday, March 28, at 2:00 pm at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church in Sophia, with the Rev. Andy Schulze, the Rev. Harold Shives, and Mr. Darrell Frye officiating.  Interment followed in the church cemetery.  The family receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 27, at the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC, 27263 or to Mt.
