Mrs. Miriam C. Bumgarner

We have received word of the Friday, July 23, 2021 death of Mrs. Miriam Callis Bumgarner at Arbor Acres in Winston-Salem.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. George William (Bill) Bumgarner.  Survivors include her son, Burton (wife Cathy) and daughter, Alice; and grandchildren, Sarah Wingo (Derik) and Andrew (Hbon Ksor).  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m in Piner Hall at Arbor Acres, with Rev. Laura Lee Jones officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Millers Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery at the Outreach Center, 4705 Boone Trail, Millers Creek.  The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arbor Acres Resident Assistance Fund, 1240 Arbor Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
