Mrs. Grace Munro Roy

We have received word of the Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 death of Mrs. Grace Jackson Munro Roy of Brevard.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas F. Munro, and her second husband, the Rev. C. Edward Roy.  She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Munro; her son, Chip Munro; granddaughters, Shannon Munro and Amanda Munro; her stepdaughter, Becki Benfield (husband Roger); her stepgrandsons, Jason Benfield (wife Amy) and Shane Benfield (wife Sarah); six stepgreat-grandchildren: Gabe Benfield, Brooklyn Benfield (Sydney), Reese Benfield, Bryndle Benfield, Bradley Russell, and Breyer Morgan; and a great-great-grandson, Kai Bailey.  A private, graveside service was held for the family the weekend of March 5^th.  A celebration of life service will be held for Grace at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church, 249 East Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712; Brevard College, One Brevard College Dr, Brevard, NC 28712, or https://brevard.edu/make-a-donation-online/ (to the Grace Munro Scholarship, C.
