Date of Death: 8/1/2021 | Date of Birth: 7/9/1924; | Clergy SpouseWe have received word of the Sunday, August 1, 2021 death of Frances Deas Bearden of Salisbury. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Bennie B. Bearden, and a grandson, David Weavil. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Schenk (Norman) and Doxie Weavil; grandchildren, Ben Schenk, Pam Corriher (David), and Randy Schenk (Gayla); great-grandchildren, Hailey, Morgan, and Josh; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Liberty Methodist Church, 141 Liberty Circle, Mocksville, NC 27028 or to the Methodist church of your choice.
