Mrs. Dorthine M. Oakley

We have received word of the Thursday, July 23, 2020 death of Mrs. Myrtle Dorthine Motsinger Oakley of Wardensville, WV, formerly of Thomasville, NC.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev, Robert L. Oakley, Sr.  Surviving is her son, the Rev. Robert Oakley Jr. (of the WVa Conf), and his wife, Linda.  A memorial service honoring Mrs. Oakley will be held at a later date at Fairview United Methodist Church, 2876 Old Greensboro Road, Thomasville, NC.  A private, family graveside service will be conducted at the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Asbury University, Wilmore, KY 40390 or Big Blue Wardensville, PO Box 162, Wardensville, WV 26851.
