Mrs. Connie F. McLain

We have received word of the Sunday, June 27, 2021 death of Mrs. Connie Faye Franklin McLain of Elkin.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Talmage Steven McLain.  She is survived by two sons: Larry (Bethanie) Speer and Rodney Speer; four grandchildren: Michael, Bobby, Ragan, and Soloman; one great-grandchild, April; two brothers: Ray Franklin (Virginia) and Larry Franklin; three sisters: Edna Porter, Ruth Morelock (Gary), and Betty Pulliam.  A funeral service for Mrs. McLain will be held at 11:00am on Friday July 2, 2021 at Huff Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E Main St, East Bend, with Pastor Zak King officiating.  Burial will follow at Grace Baptist Church, 7795 Grapevine Rd, Lewisville.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Huff Funeral Home to help offset final expenses.
