Mrs. Anna R. Wright

We have received word of the Saturday, September 19, 2020 death of Mrs. Anna Mae Reeves Wright of Hiddenite.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Wade E. Wright.  She is survived by her daughters, Kathy W. Durmire (husband Allen) and Carol W. McLain (husband Barry); two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23 at 2:00pm at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Taylorsville, officiated by the Revs. Donnie Durham, Doug Houchmuth, and Gregory Lee.  Anna was laid to rest in the Hiddenite Cemetery following the service.  A time for viewing and visitation took place on Tuesday, September 22 from 3-5pm at Adams Funeral Home.  Memorial donations may be made to: Hiddenite Cemetery Fund, 136 Prichard Ln, Hiddenite, NC 28636, or Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
