United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) Kits and Supplies |
The Mission Response Center is one of 10 “Cooperating Depots” of the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) Relief Supply system. As such the MRC collects UMCOR kits from the Western North Carolina Conference and surrounding United Methodist Conferences. These kits are then checked for accuracy and sent to the main UMCOR Depot in Louisiana. Some items, such as cleaning buckets and some health kits, are stored at the MRC to be dispatched to surrounding areas in case of disaster.
Completed Hygiene and School kits will be accepted at the Mission Response Center. Cleaning buckets are not needed at the Mission Response Center at this time. Please visit www.umcor.org and click the “relief supplies” tab for instructions on assembling these kits. |
