The North Carolina Conference and the Western North Carolina Conference partnered with the Armenian Apostolic Church in forming Project AGAPE in 1994 to provide relief following a devastating earthquake and the collapse of their economy after the Soviet Union dissolved. Currently, Project AGAPE is the only humanitarian aid organization at work in Nagorno-Karabagh providing support for food, clothing, medicine and more. Having Nara share with your congregation is an effective way to show how outreach ministry from the Western North Carolina Conference is making a significant impact in the world.
