United Methodist Churches in the Western NC Conference are encouraged to participate in a Special Sunday Offering on October 16, 2022. The funds from this offering will go towards relief efforts in Florida following the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian. The damage from this storm has been extensive in the southwestern part of the state and beyond. One of our greatest assets and privileges as United Methodists is to know we are not alone in our ministries but are part of a greater connection. We pray the communities impacted by Hurricane Ian will be blessed by the generosity, prayers, and support of our connection in the Western North Carolina Conference.

Rob Parsons, pastor of Saluda UMC and a new church start called WithALL, shares how these two congregations are doing just that. He describes their ministry style as “church in reverse,” and for them, their ministry does not start in the sanctuary, or a food pantry, or a Facebook page – it starts in courtrooms.

For Niner United, 'the whole campus is our parish'
|
