Faith leaders support providing health coverage to 600,000 uninsured North Carolinians

By: Reverend James Brigman, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Rockingham, NC
On June 30, the Care4Carolina Faith Advisory Council brought together faith leaders from across NC to pray together virtually. This virtual prayer breakfast asked the more than 30 attendees to pray for state leaders and North Carolinians who fall into the health insurance coverage gap. The health insurance coverage gap is now more than 600,000 uninsured individuals that do not have access to affordable coverage. Prayers and testimonies about individuals living in the coverage gap were shared. (A recording of the prayer breakfast is available on YouTube.)
