INVE$T YOUNG CLERGY

INVE$T YC is our way of bringing together WNCC’s young clergy (under 40) for a chance to learn and grow, in regards to personal and church finances.  This program promotes financial health and personal practices.  It is designed to help you be proactive instead of reactive.  This may prove to be especially helpful to a new, young pastor expected to 'manage the books' at a small church, or one who doesn't have a background in finance.

Knowing many clergy enter ministry with significant debt, we want to help provide a link and guide to the tools and knowledge you need to budget, plan, save, and eliminate debt!  “Is that even possible!?” you may ask – and we answer a resounding, “Yes!”  This will be our third "IYC class", and we have seen and heard of the positive impact this program has had to past participants.

By joining the strong cast of leaders for this program, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of field experts in four separate group events, you will have an individual session with a financial planner who knows the unique nature of clergy finances, and you will be given forms, links, tips, and tools to take home and incorporate the wisdom of the ages into your everyday life and activities.
