Disaster Response Update - Greensboro Tornado On April 15th, 2018 an EF2 Tornado struck the Greensboro area, killing one and causing widespread damage. Disaster Response teams from various organizations, including some from the WNCC UMC, are currently helping with disaster relief efforts in the area. Packing Instructions and Project AGAPE/UMCOR Drop-Off Locations Please pack all items in the smallest box that is appropriate. Recommended box size is 16” X 12” X 12” since boxes of that size can be reused as part of a shipment. List the contents on the outside of the box. Also, pack the boxes as full and tight as possible. For Fall Break, a group of students from Niner United (UNC Charlotte’s Episcopal, Lutheran, Presbyterian, and United Methodist campus ministry) decided to go south to Brunswick, Georgia to do some disaster relief for the people whose homes were affected by Hurricane Irma.
