#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities around the world. We have two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Following Hurricanes Michael and Florence, here are ways you can respond. The Western North Carolina Conference Committee on Relief continues to monitor the damages and will provide updates on Conference response efforts.
Volunteer for the efforts to support the Methodist Church of Puerto Rico (MCPR), as they work to rebuild after Hurricane Maria. The purpose of this mission trip is to work with the Puerto Rico Methodist Church for relationship development through the rebuilding of homes and churches. We will seek to offer ourselves sacrificially under the direction of UMVIM and the local church. The next trip dates are TBD and will be announced here.
