After two plus years of pandemic-related adjustments, the post-Covid Church is slowly emerging, and we at St. Stephen United Methodist Church would like to invite you to join us as we begin laying a foundation for the post-Covid world through our 2022 Summer Series titled “Exploring Great Questions of Faith.”
Come join us as we hear from, and engage with, noted theologians (Dr. Ben Witherington III and Dr. Amy-Jill Levine) and leading local pastors (Dr. James C. Howell, Rev. Dr. Otto D. Harris, III, and Rev. Talbot Davis) on the following topics:
· July 10 - “Who God Is” (Dr. Ben Witherington III)
· July 17 - “What Does the Lord Require?” (Dr. James C. Howell)
· July 24 - “What is the Kingdom of God?” (Dr. Amy-Jill Levine)
· July 31 - “What is the Mission of the Church?” (Rev. Dr. Otto D. Harris, III)
· August 7 - “What is the Bible?” (Rev. Talbot Davis)
The sessions will present diverse perspectives and will be sure to provide challenging and thought-provoking responses from participants.
The 2022 Summer Series will consist of five sessions on consecutive Sundays, commencing on July 10, 2022 and ending on August 7, 2022. Each of the five sessions will begin at 10:45 am in the St. Stephen Youth Ministry Center located at 6800 Sardis Road, Charlotte, NC 28270 and will be accessible via Zoom. Each session will conclude by 11:45 am.
