Metro District hosts Journey to Transformation Lenten Study

February 24, 2021

If you are not yet in a Lenten study, the Metro District invites you to journey with us, as we pray, read scripture, reflect and act during the 2021 Lenten Season.

Our Powerful Leaders/Presenters
Bishop Sharma Lewis - February 22
Ms. Benita Lefft - March 1
Rev. Dawn Hand - March 8
Dr. Tiffany Little - March 15
Mr. Linell & Mrs. Erika Robinson - March 22
Rev. David Hockett - March 29

The Lenten Season is forty days, not counting Sundays, which begins on “Ash Wednesday” February 17, 2020 and ends on Holy Saturday.

We will journey for forty days of self-examination, repentance and renewal leading towards Easter. We will recall the Easter story, and how Jesus gave his life to redeem the world (us) and gave us the gift of salvation. There is no greater Love.

We invite YOU to journey with us through this Lenten season in personal introspection, repentance, forgiveness, renewal, prayer, fasting, and Biblical study. May your life be transformed and may you in turn offer love and hope to someone else.

HOSTED BY: Dr. Otto Harris, pastor at St. Mark’s UMC & Dr. Stephanie Moore Hand, Metro District Vitality Strategist
