Construction on new conference center update
December 20, 2017
The Annual Conference voted in June 2017 to move the Western North Carolina Conference Center from Charlotte to Huntersville. (see AC2017 documents)
Trustees and Conference leaders had a ground breaking ceremony in July 2017 on the site next to the United Methodist Foundation building in Huntersville.
After working through permitting and construction formalities during the fall, contractors are making progress on preparing the land for new construction on the site on Professional Center Drive in Huntersville.
