Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits Announces Move to The Colonial Life Group

The Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits is happy to announce a change from The Guardian to The Colonial Life for the group term Basic Life, Additional Life, Critical Illness and Accident Coverage. Several clergy shared experiences of difficulty with The Guardian and we heard you! Colonial Life is a respected leader in the insurance world, and we believe will be a positive transition.
With this transition to The Colonial Life group, there are things that you as an eligible person MUST do during the open enrollment period.
The open enrollment period is September 20, 2021 to October 29, 2021. You must call Colonial Life to enroll in the various benefits offered. You must call even if you only intend to receive the Basic group term benefit of $10,000 that the Conference offers as a part of your Health Benefits. The is require in order to provide your beneficiary information.
The dedicated call center will not open until Monday, September 20. At that point, the call center will be open Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 8.00 pm EDT.
