Administration Website

September 27, 2018

Over the past couple of weeks, our team here at the Conference office has worked hard to transition our old WNCCAdmin site into a cloud based, mobile friendly, secure platform that makes administration tasks easy and accessible. We are pleased with the progress we have made in just a few short weeks.

As with any type of upgrade and change, you may experience a different feel and look than what you are used to. However, we hope that your experience with the new features will ultimately leave you with a sense of simplicity and effectiveness.

I would like to touch on just a few key things as we begin this process:

  1. All of our WNCCAdmin site has been converted over to our WNCCUMC.ORG site. The two sites are now one, and all data can be accessed from just one domain. To access any Administration materials, you can go to WNCCUMC.ORG/Administration or go to the WNCCUMC.ORG home page and click Administration at the top of the page. The old wnccadmin.org URL will point to the new Administration section for the next couple of months. Please note that not everything is available right now. As we continue to tweak and improve, we will launch more features. Over the next several weeks, we will also be making changes and tweaking existing data to ensure it is correct such as uploading current clergy photos.  Please be patient with us as we work to get everything in order.
  2. The Administration section has been simplified, making it easier than ever to access the information that you need. Everything can be found in one place.  One great example is that all forms and documents can now all be found in one location.  You no longer have to switch web pages.
  3. Depending on whether you are Clergy or a Church, you have access to the Clergy and Church Dashboards. Clergy dashboard can be accessed by going to WNCCUMC.ORG/Administration and clicking People Dashboard. Churches can access the Church Dashboard by going to WNCCUMC.ORG/Administration and clicking Church Dashboard. It is important to note that these are distinct login pages, so please make sure you are in the correct dashboard before you attempt to login.
    1. Within the Church Dashboard, you can access and update your Local Leadership (formally LCLCL), download, print, or upload you Charge Conference Forms, and start Clergy Compensation information for all pastors. It is very important to note that Churches now only have ONE login per church, and all data will be accessible through that login.  Please make careful decisions about who is given the church username and passwords.
      1. Your 2019 Apportionment information will be listed within the Remittances and Apportionments button.
      2. You may now begin updating your Local Church Leadership (formally LCLCL) in the church dashboard. Please make sure to update all dates for all positions and click the “I’m finished” button when finished.
      3. All churches who do not have an email address attached to their profile will be issued a wnccumc.net email address in the coming weeks.
      4.  Due to the simplifying of login systems, your old login for churches will no longer work. You will need to reach out to your  District Office Administrator or your pastor for login information.
  4. Within the Clergy Dashboard, you can access and update your own Clergy Compensation forms, as well as find historical data related to your clergy profile. You can also now upload your own photo right from the clergy dashboard.
    1. For clergy, your usernames and passwords should be the same as they were on the old admin site. If you experience any issues, click “Need Help Logging In” and using your .NET email address to recover your password.
    2. Clergy Compensation forms are now available. You will be able to save and return to it as many times as you like, however, one you click “Submit for Approval” you will no longer be able to make any changes.
  5. We will be uploading step-by-step instructions and videos in the near future which will assist you in all of the above.
  6. As with any data migration and change, there will be bugs/issues/mistakes. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through them. The help link will help provide some helpful FAQ's and contact information for your district office administrator.
    1. Please contact your district office administrator for any questions/concerns/issues you encounter.
    2. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be developing videos, help documents, and FAQ’s to help guide you through the administration sections.
I am excited for the changes we are making to our administration section of our website. My goal is to continue working to make our web presence and data secure, simple, and mobile friendly. Ultimately, my goal is to help free up your time so you can continue doing what you do best, the ministry of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

I want to be of service to you, so please reach out to me through a help ticket with any questions/concerns you might have.

In Christ,

Chris Hampton
