Fresh Expressions Vision Day set for May 6

The ministry landscape is changing, are you ready? What if the Church got creative about engaging the 21st century world with the gospel? What if the Church could empower and equip God's people to connect with their neighborhoods and networks? Get a picture of what is happening across the world and in many locations in the United States with a Fresh Expressions Vision Day, on Saturday, May 6, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at First United Methodist Church in Salisbury, NC. What is a Vision Day? A Fresh Expressions Vision Day is a one-day interactive training that can catalyze your church to:

  • See opportunity in the new mission field
  • Hear how fresh expressions are renewing the church
  • Discover how fresh expressions of church develop and grow
  • Consider what a fresh expression might look like in your context
  • Discover your role in releasing these new missions
Speakers for the day will include Travis Collins, Director Mission Advancement and Southeast Regional Coordinator for Fresh Expressions US, and Rev. Michael Beck, Senior Pastor of Wildwood and Oxford United Methodist Churches, and the North Central District Cultivator of Fresh Expressions for the Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church.
