Laney Legacy in Moral Leadership will sponsor a fall lecture series on faith and politics in the 21st century. Lectures are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Candler School of Theology is located on the campus of Emory University at 1531 Dickey Drive, Atlanta, GA 30322.  Conference: “Unfinished Worlds: Jürgen Moltmann at 90” Oct. 19-20 Candler School of Theology • $30.00; registration required Candler School of Theology will host world-renowned theologian Jürgen Moltmann for a two-day conference on issues of contemporary theology, the contemporary church, and the contemporary world, as seen through the lens of Moltmann’s theology. Presenters include Jürgen Moltmann, Candler faculty members Joy Ann McDougall and Jennifer Ayres, Nancy Bedford of Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, Reggie Williams of McCormick Theological Seminary, Raphael G. Warnock of Atlanta’s historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, Charles Mathewes of The University of Virginia, Joshua Ralston of the University of Edinburgh, Gerald Liu of Drew Theological School, Reinerio Arce-Valentín of Matanzas Theological Seminary, Rachelle Renee Green of Emory University’s Graduate Division of Religion, and Hilda P. Annual Women’s Forum: Sara Miles on “Breaking Bread with a Broken World” Nov. 3 • 6:00 p.m. Glenn Memorial Auditorium • Free; registration required Candler’s Women, Theology and Ministry program will host its Annual Women’s Forum on November 3, featuring Sara Miles, writer and founder/director of The Food Pantry at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco. The author of Take This Bread, Jesus Freak, and City of God, Miles was a forty-something atheist when she wandered into St. Gregory's and ate a piece of bread and took a sip of wine that changed her life. Since her radical conversion, she has created a food ministry that serves thousands, and she speaks, preaches, and leads workshops around the country. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, the New Yorker, and on National Public Radio. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required by November 1 at 12:00 p.m. at http://bit.ly/1NqQJxc.
