February 22, 2016

NCCC-health-and-wholenessPHW 2016 Certification The Partners in Health and Wholeness 2016 Certification Program is now open! Congregations must certify each calendar year and can apply anytime between now and October 31, 2016. Once completed, your congregation will receive recognition from the Council and may be eligible to apply for a mini-grant. Currently, there is no limit to the number of years congregations are able to participate in the program. If you have any questions, please contact our Program Coordinator Chris Pernell at christine@ncchurches.org or call 919-828-6501. Strive to Revive Maintenance Program We are now accepting applications for our Strive to Revive Maintenance Grant Program. If you received an AED from Strive to Revive and would like to apply for funds to support the ongoing cost of maintaining your AED, please fill out the application found below. This is a one-time program to help you cover the costs of replacement parts (i.e. pads and batteries), the cost of AED and CPR training and certification, and/or the cost of medical direction, as needed. It is our hope that this program will help your congregation develop and sustain its own AED program maintenance plan. Applications are due by February 29, 2016 and awardees will be notified in approximately 4 to 6 weeks. If you have any additional questions, please contact Shannon Axtell Martin and Nicole Johnson at strivetorevive@ncchurches.org or call (336) 912-0976. From the North Carolina Council of Churches
