2015 Labor Day Weekend Trail Hike September 4-7Labor Day Weekend Adult Hike ~ 3 Nights ~ 4 Days Pisgah National Forest - North of Brevard The hike begins after lunch on Friday, usually at 2 p.m. Everyone meets at a staging site and car pooling is encouraged. The hike concludes before lunch on Monday. No prior backpacking experience is required. Hikers should expect to hike several hours under loaded pack each day. PK Retreat is Back! September 18-20 Where? Mount Shepherd Camp and Retreat Center Who? 6th-12th Graders! A weekend retreat designed with Pastor’s Kids in mind! Register your PK for a weekend of playing at camp, getting to know other PK’s, and exploring what’s so special about being a PK anyway! Oh! And they get to meet the Bishop too! Interested in hanging out and playing at camp for a weekend? What about hanging out with some pretty cool Pastor’s Kids? We need your help! We are looking for Adult and College age Pastor’s Kids to be group leaders and volunteer staff for the Annual PK Retreat! Responsibilities are pretty easy.
- Play and Hang out at Camp with a group of PK’s (fish, canoe, challenge course, climbing wall, hiking, swimming… need I say more?)
- Participate in conversations throughout the weekend with your group. (All resources provided and conversations facilitated by our fearless leader…)
