Kenya Partners announces these opportunities for Summer 2015:
ANNOUNCING: A NEW CROSS CULTURAL & EDUCATIONAL MISSION TRIP
Kenya Partners, a non-profit focusing on impacting the severely impoverished in Nakuru Kenya since 2006, announces a different type of mission experience July 22 - August 5, 2015, with in-depth educational forums and cross-cultural exposure. With limited physical requirements and minimal walking, this trip is ideal for those who need a less strenuous mission opportunity. In-country expenses total under $2000 and include comfortable and well-appointed lodging in safe and secure suburbs, two meals a day (excluding travel days), trip insurance, bottled water, and transport airfare is extra, although we book it for you from your designated airport to coordinate with other team members' travel schedules. The trip culminates with a 4-day 3-night luxury safari to the Masai Mara. Team limited to 12 adventure-seeking travelers. Team Leader: Brenda Glad. MISSION OPPORTUNITY: KENYA (July 7-23, 2015)
Be part of a cross-generational mission experience in a safe and secure community in Nakuru, Kenya and help make a significant difference in the lives of women and children suffering from extreme poverty. Kenya Partners is a non-profit which originally began out of a mission initiative at Wesley Memorial UMC in High Point in 2006 and which operates a K-12 boarding school for orphans and vulnerable children, 2 other pre-school programs with feeding components, and a 24/7 primary care clinic. Teachers, counselors, doctors, nurses, dentists, opticians, PT's OT's, lab techs, and those who simply have a heart to serve are all needed and welcome on this team. Extended stay/internships/alternate dates available. Plans can be made to bring church and youth teams at other dates and coordinated with church schedules.
