AC2023 Publications Available Online
|
The 2023 Annual Conference Program and Reports Book, Supplement, and Worship Book are available online. Clergy and Lay Members of the 2023 Annual Conference are invited to read about the ministries of the Western North Carolina Conference.
If you're planning to watch Annual Conference via livestream, these online resources will be helpful for you to follow along at home! If you're attending in person, you will pick up these printed supplies at registration.

Give to the AC2023 Offering
|
The AC2023 Offering will be shared equally with two exceedingly worthy causes: The start of new churches in Ukraine following the war and the creation of trauma responsive, healing centered faith communities.
Churches are encouraged to take an offering ahead of Annual Conference for these ministries or make an offering from the church budget. Checks can be made payable to “WNCC Treasurer” and mailed to the WNC Conference Center at P. O. Box 2757, Huntersville, NC 28070 or make a donation through the website. Clergy and Lay delegates may also bring an offering from their church to Annual Conference.

Guest Speakers for Annual Conference 2023
|
We'd like to welcome and thank our two guest speakers for Annual Conference 2023! Rev. Dr. Candace Lewis, President-Dean of Gammon Theological Seminary will be preaching at the Opening Worship Service on Friday morning at 10:30am. Rev. Dr. Martyn Atkins, Former General Secretary of the Methodist Church in Great Britain and President of the Conference will be teaching the Bible Study Session on Friday afternoon at 3:30pm.

Connect @ AC is back again this year at the 2023 Western NC Annual Conference! Join us for a Friday night of FUN at Lake Junaluska on June 16th! After the Friday afternoon business sessions wrap up, we will have multiple opportunities for you and the whole family to celebrate and come together while participating in exciting activities.

Visit the Resource Fair at AC2023
|
Make sure to visit the Resource Fair while you're at AC2023! There are so many ministries that will have tables and tents set up for you to visit, get free stuff, shop around for some cool items, and learn more about their ministry!
Tables and tents will be set up outside in between Harrell and Stuart as well as inside Harrell on the first floor. The hours are below.
Thursday: 1 - 6:30pm
Friday: 9am - 6:30pm
Saturday: 8am - 2pm
The Resource Fair connects conference members to groups who have information to share about their ministry. Displays are provided to encourage conference members to learn more about the resources that are available through the wide variety of agencies and ministries in the conference and beyond.

Don't Forget to Stop By Registration at AC2023!
|
Registration and Check-In for Annual Conference will be open in The Terrace Auditorium (third floor) on the following dates:
Thursday, June 15 @ 10:30am - 6pm
Friday, June 16 @ 8:30am - 4pm
Please plan to visit registration to record your attendance and receive your conference materials (this includes the P&R Supplement Book and your Worship Book) before the first session.
Registration will be organized by district in 2023! When entering The Terrace Auditorium, all clergy and lay members should look to the right side of the room for your district table! Don't know your district? You can find it by looking up your church!
**If you arrive after registration closes Friday, you can still get your name tag by visiting the Stuart Auditorium Usher Desk.

|

Asian American Ministries Network Luncheon at Annual Conference
|
The Asian American Ministries Network is having an informal luncheon during Annual Conference from 12:00-1:30 on Saturday, June 17. Asian laity, clergy and all allies are welcome to go through the buffet line in the Terrace Dining Room and bring their trays to Room 316. All are welcome to join us. Those who RSVP in advance will have the cost of their meal covered. Contact the network’s secretary, Matt Smith, at matt.smith@faithisalive.org or 828 331-0763 (text okay).
