Light Of Christ UMC Shares Their #BeUMC Story
|
Light Of Christ United Methodist Church in Charlotte (Metro District) chose to be a part of the #BeUMC Campaign. Take a look at how this church is doing ministry and being United Methodist in their community!
Connect with them on their channels: WEBSITE, FACEBOOK, & INSTAGRAM.
#BeUMC honors the core values that connect the people of The United Methodist Church. No matter the challenges we face, God is with us, and we continue to have opportunities to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world! The campaign calls us to embrace our Wesleyan heritage and envision a promising future. Every day offers a chance to live into our mission and to strive to #BeUMC — to be the church our communities so desperately need. This grassroots effort, built upon powerful stories of congregations and people living their faith, celebrates what draws us to The United Methodist Church and what we aspire to be.

Merlefest Meetup with Bishop Carter
|
Join Bishop Ken Carter at Merlefest on Thursday, April 27th for a conversation around four questions. We'll meet up at the UMC Tent inside the festival at 3pm and find a place close by to chat. After our conversation we'll go listen to some good bluegrass! This is in partnership with the Fresh Expressions Adventurer’s Leadership Academy and the Appalachian District of the United Methodist Church’s presence at this festival. You don't have to register to attend the conversation, but if you do we'll bring you a free copy of Bishop Carter's new book! Contact Luke Edwards if you have any questions at ledwards@wnccumc.org.
