Hood Theological Seminary Center for Chaplaincy to Host Clinical Pastoral Education Day
The Center for Chaplaincy at Hood Theological Seminary will host a hybrid Clinical Pastoral Education Day on November 7, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (EST) via the Zoom portal and in-person attendance. This event is free and open to the public.
This event can accommodate 50 people for the in-person experience, and will take place virtually as well. The location for in-person attendance will be the campus of Hood Theological Seminary, Aymer Center, 1810 Lutheran Synod Drive, Salisbury, NC 28144. Please register in advance. From 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., you will hear from three panelists who will share about chaplaincy and the intersection between chaplaincy, the academy, and the local church. Lunch will be provided for the in-person attendees from noon until 1:00 p.m. After lunch there will be brief presentations regarding the uniqueness of CPE intern programs, engaging dialogue and answer inquiries for those in attendance. This event is an opportunity to educate further HTS students and the community-at-large about the various aspects of chaplaincy.
