Prayer for Armenia by Robert Lee Fletcher
|
This is a prayer by Robert Lee Fletcher from the Project Agape family in response to the recent border fighting in Armenia.
"Holy God, Lord of mercy and might, be with my brothers and sisters in the ancient land of Armenia. Surround them with protection putting angels at every intersection, doorway and place of worship. Remind them that while we may have been surprised by the attacks of recent days, You, most Holy and Omnipotent God were not. May the faith of this Christian nation grow even greater as they walk by faith and not by sight. Draw mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, together as they put their trust in the Lord Almighty. Give the priests words of comfort for their people. Supply all the needs of the Armenian people, especially in these areas of conflict, according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Meet their financial, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Fill their cup, good measure, pressed down, running over, a blessing they can't even contain. May they not only survive, but also thrive so that You, Loving God, may receive glory and praise. We thank you God for Your steadfast love, never ending mercy and amazing grace.
And this prayer we ask in the name above every name, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."
