Tomorrow, Thursday, January 27, in this one-hour webinar, we'll be joined by Bishop Ken Carter and Rev. Dr. Stephanie Hand to learn about what Fresh Expressions is and why every church should consider starting one.

Regathering the Church: Winter 2022 Update
In this updated webinar on February 2 at 10:30 a.m., Dr. Ernst-Bischoff, Epidemiologist at Wake Forest Baptist Health, will discuss congregational regathering, the status of the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccinations, and what to expect in these first few months of 2022. He will also be available to answer your questions.

Unrevealed Until Its Season: A Lenten Study with the Metro District
Join us as we journey through the Lenten season together. We will use the book Unrevealed Until Its Season: a lenten journey with hymns written by Dr. James C. Howell, senior pastor at Myers Park UMC in Charlotte. You will purchase your own book and scholarships are available to assist with the cost. The sessions are via Zoom and held on Monday evenings at 7 pm. Invite others to join us! They can participate from anywhere! The study will be offered in English and Spanish!/En inglés y español!

Certificate In Church Treasury
Various dates in March & April
The Conference Office of Treasury Services and the United Methodist Foundation of Western North Carolina will offer a certificate training program for United Methodist volunteer treasurers within our conference. Dr. Mark King and Rev. David Snipes will lead the four-session program on March 5,12, April 23 and 30, from 10 am – 3 pm.
