Winter Leadership Webinars Begin Next Week, Bishop Ken Carter to Give Keynote Address
Next week, the WNC Conference will offer a series of Conference-wide training webinars to resource and equip all areas of your Church leadership. Bishop Carter will give the keynote address, titled "Our Pathways to the Post-Covid Church," on the opening night of the weeklong webinar series. The Bishop's address will explore four interrelated pathways to the Post-Covid Church. All laity and clergy are invited to participate. Find the full schedule for the week in the article.

Conference Board of Pensions Waive Local Church Benefit Obligations for January
Due to the positive year-end results for the Conference Board of Pensions and Health Benefits, primarily due to the strong market performance of its investments, the Board has approved a waiver of premiums for January 2022.  Local churches will not be billed for the local church component of the Conference Sponsored Pension and Health Benefits Plans for the month of January.

This event is sponsored each year by the WNCC Justice & Reconciliation Team, WNCC Commission on Religion & Race, and the WNCC Black Methodists for Church Renewal. 
     
  • Navigating Uncharted Waters is a ministry leader’s guide designed to help lead congregations through our current times. This free resource from Plowpoint Ministries offers lectionary-based resources for worship and holy conversation
     
  • Spring dates for the Antiracism Ethics Trainings are now available. Antiracism Ethics Training is the Clergy Ethics Training for the new quadrennium through June 2024, and thus it is mandatory for all clergy in the Western North Carolina Conference.
