Clergy: How are you? The Duke Clergy Health Initiative wants to know.

The 2019 edition of the Duke Clergy Health Initiative’s Statewide Survey is under way. If you are an appointed or recently retired pastor in the Western North Carolina Conference, you should have recently received a welcome packet in the mail, and then on August 27, a personalized email invitation. (If you haven’t received these, please contact ClergyHealth.Panel@duke.edu.)
Please add your voice to the survey, for the first or the sixth time! This survey provides a treasure trove of data that has informed policies and programs to help clergy in North Carolina, and others beyond our state. CHI needs your unique input to create the best programs going forward.
Once again, The Duke Endowment is funding CHI’s work. “The Duke Endowment is proud to support the 2019 edition of the Clergy Health Survey,” said Robb Webb, director of the Endowment’s Rural Church program area. “This year marks the sixth time that the Clergy Health Initiative has sought the input of every United Methodist pastor in North Carolina. Exceptional research and impactful programs have grown out of past surveys, and I’m looking forward to seeing what findings this year’s data will produce. I am grateful for all who have participated, and encourage everyone to participate once again in this important work.”
