Preschool Director

Weddington United Methodist Church is a 4,500-member congregation with multiple styles of worship and ministry opportunities for all ages on four campuses. Weddington is a growing church located in the beautiful South Charlotte area.  The growth potential of for ministry is unlimited due to continued growth in the immediate area. 
Weddington Christian Preschool is a ministry of Weddington United Methodist Church with an enrollment of 330 children on two campuses.  The school employs a staff of 50 part-time teachers and assistants.
The Director of Weddington Christian Preschool is the face of the school to the children who attend, to their families, to the staff of Weddington Church and the congregation and to the Weddington Community. The position is fulltime salaried. The minimum requirements for the position are:

• Strong sense of call to Christian ministry with a deep love for preschoolers and their families
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood development or related field
• North Carolina Administrator’s Credential
• 3-5 years of experience as Director, some classroom experience helpful
• Exemplified superb communication skills with all ages
