Administrative Assistant


St Paul United Methodist Church in Christiansburg, VA is seeking a part time Administrative Assistant working 30 hours a week. Candidates must embrace Christian faith and values. Candidates should have good interpersonal, communication, and computer skills; and editorial ability. The Administrative Assistant serves to manage all activities of the church office and to perform administrative duties related to the church’s mission and ministry.

Essential functions include church office management, media and communications support, financial record-keeping, and general clerical and receptionist duties.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite, desktop publishing software, and social media platforms. 

The candidate must be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and prioritize projects and possess the ability to work independently with minimum supervision. An Associate degree, or equivalent professional training, and/or at least two years’ related experience is required. The job description is available upon request.
