Crossnore Communities for Children is looking for singles or  couples (spouses, relatives, friends) to join our new Bridging Families program as Bridge Parents in Saluda, NC. We are looking for dedicated, well-organized people who enjoy caring for children and willing to walk alongside families during the reunification process.

Bridge Parents use a professional, team-oriented, trauma-informed approach to support our children. This is a full time, 24/7, live-in position. Housing and up to 4 days respite per month provided.

Each Bridge home can accommodate up to 6 children. As professional parents, this role helps bridge the gap by caring for children in a home provided by our agency, while birth parents are working on their reunification plan. As families journey through the program, Bridge Parent responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a steady daily routine for the children in care, keeping necessary appointments and documentation, preparing meals, managing expenses and budgets, and participating in special activities. Bridge Parents also coach and support birth parents in healthy and appropriate parenting skills.

Hiring Range: $40,000 to 46,000 annually per person, and Housing provided; $3000 SIGN ON BONUS PER PERSON
 
Pre-Hire Requirements 

  • Must successfully complete extensive background checks, interviews, and pre-hire drug screen
  • Crossnore Communities for Children is requiring new hires (excluding those with an approved medical or religious exemption) to be vaccinated for COVID 19 as a condition of employment to help ensure the safety of all employees, youth and families served.
